Description
The West Building is located at 3551 7th Ave. N. in Fargo. The structure houses the offices and facilities of the Center for Heritage Renewal and Institute for Regional Studies and University Archives. The Center for Heritage Renewal focuses on applied history research to serve the regional public and the historical profession. Tom Isern, University Distinguished Professor of history, directs the center. The Institute for Regional Studies and University Archives collect and preserve historical resources of the region and to promote their use by the NDSU community, scholars and the public. Important historical, legal, fiscal and social records of the university are made available to students, researchers and the public.
