North Dakota State University's commencement page provides information and guidance about ceremony activities. Commencement is a celebration of individual student success, family and community pride and faculty and staff support. As one of the most exciting days on campus, students have the opportunity to mark this milestone. Ceremony Dates & Times
SPRING 2026
Saturday, May 16, Fargodome
Doors Open: 1 hour prior to each ceremony
Processional Begins: 15 minutes prior to each ceremony
Ceremony Start: 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
To ensure the ceremony begins promptly on the hour, the processional will start 15 minutes prior. Please be seated by 9:45 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 1:45 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.
