It's time to plant!

As excited as you may be to go out and buy a variety of plants right away, there are a few things you should consider before you head to the greenhouse. Consider these:

Is the plant suitable for your lifestyle? You must make sure that your plants will be able to survive in the conditions it will be living in.

Will you be able to adjust to its needs? Each individual species has its own living requirements.

Flowers or greens? Consider aesthetics! If the color scheme of your room is neutral, think about getting flowering plants or plants with colorful foliage. If there is a preexisting color scheme, plants with simple, green foliage may be the way to go.

Will there children or pets with access? Some plants have thorns or may even be poisonous!

Do you have the room to keep it? Even a windowsill will be sufficient for some potted plants. If you are low on table space, consider hanging varieties.
