booksWelcome to my webpage. I currently serve as Associate Professor and Head of the School of Education at North Dakota State University where I teach courses primarily in the Institutional Analysis track of the Education Doctoral Programs, including Institutional Quality Control, Assessment Techniques, Intermediate Statistics, and Survey Research Methods. I also conduct research on various topics of concern to measuring and improving education, serve on doctoral student committees, and mentor other students who are conducting their own research. In my administrative capacity as Head of the School of Education, I oversee undergraduate and graduate degrees in the following four program areas: Counselor Education, Education Doctoral Programs, Educational Leadership, and Teacher Education

I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri. I received my Master's degree in Counseling & Student Personnel with an emphasis in College Student Development and my doctoral degree in Educational Psychology, both from Oklahoma State University. My doctoral coursework focused upon four domain areas: Research & Evaluation, Lifespan Human Development, Instructional Psychology, and Higher Education Administration. My dissertation concerned the development of a model and measure of the justice and care dimensions of moral theory.

After completing my doctoral degree, I served as the Assistant Director and Interim Director of University Assessment & Testing at OSU. During that time, I also had the opportunity to serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in both the Educational Psychology and Research, Evaluation, Measurement & Statistics graduate programs.
