Faculty and Staff Resources

We have provided resources for faculty and staff that are interested in incorporating the STEPS to Success messages into their classrooms, offices, and programs. Here you will find posters, PowerPoints, and other helpful tools.

How can you use STEPS to Success to change student perceptions and behaviors?

  • Invite a member of the STEPS team to give a brief presentation in your classroom
  • Incorporate STEPS messages into your syllabus and other communications with students (e.g., Blackboard announcements, etc.)
  • Reinforce students for exhibiting behaviors and attitudes in line with academic success
  • Link STEPS messages to academic resources on campus (e.g., ACE, Center for Writers, Counseling Center, etc.)
  • Incorporate STEPS facts into your meetings with student advisees
