2022 Harvest Bowl Celebrates County Agriculturists

The success, dedication and hard work of outstanding agriculturists in 53 counties in North Dakota and eight counties in Minnesota were honored during the 48th annual Harvest Bowl program at North Dakota State University on Nov. 18, 2022. Congratulations to Nate and Deb Schlief, the 2022 Harvest Bowl honorees for Grand Forks County! Nate and Deb Schlief have operated a small hay and straw business for the past five years. Nate, a 1999 graduate of NDSU, is employed by RDO Equipment as a technical communication specialist. He is president of ARC of ND, and a past president of Grand Forks County Farm Bureau. Deb is a farm loan officer at Traill County Farm Service Agency. She is past director of Family Voices of North Dakota, and former director of ND Assistive. She enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics Grand Forks and has been a soccer coach for the last seven years. They have two sons.
