Description
The state-funded building houses classrooms, labs and study areas, with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics-related courses, known as STEM. The facility is located east of the Memorial Union and west of Churchill Field. The three-story, 109,000-square foot structure is designed to enhance student learning through state-of-the-art classrooms and labs. The structure will feature modular “open frame” flexible classrooms that can range in size from 24 seats to an auditorium that will have seating for 300 students. An estimated 4,000-5,000 students use the building each day.
