Welcome Emily Perry to the Center.
Dr. Perry serves as the Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacist for the CAP center. She graduated from NDSU with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2006. Since then, she has practiced in both community and hospital inpatient pharmacy. She has worked in many clinical settings including Antimicrobial Stewardship, Adult Medicine, Cardiac Rehab, Emergency Room, Sterile Compounding, and Central Pharmacy Operations. She has been a preceptor to APPE students, PGY1, and PGY2 residents. Dr. Perry has expertise in antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, and data collection. Her research interests include antibiotic usage and antimicrobial resistance.
In addition to her responsibilities as an antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist, Dr. Perry is a member of the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists and North Dakota Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists.
