EVENT DESCRIPTION

In this webinar you will learn to identify and address health misinformation, examine current evidence on vaccines, and explore evidence-based vaccine communication strategies.

PRESENTERS

Nicole Hatzenbuhler, MSN, RN, is an Assistant Professor of Practice at NDSU Nursing at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND and specializes as a pediatric nurse educator. Her courses engage students in health promotion activities, vaccine advocacy efforts, and community initiatives to foster wellness for children and families.

Sharon Nelson, PhD, RN, is an Assistant Professor of Practice at NDSU Nursing at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND. She teaches research and evidence-based practice to all levels of nursing students and coordinates public health clinicals. Her focus is to educate students to appreciate the importance of evidence-based nursing practice.  

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. ​Criteria for successful completion includes attendance for the entire activity and completion of an evaluation form. ​Contact hours can be earned through December 31, 2025.
