Bio

Robert Mayo is a Research Specialist for the Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from George Mason University, and a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research interests include experimental economics, behavioral economics, and agent-based modeling, with a focus on understanding the roots of other-regarding behavior in one-shot, anonymous games. Robert brings a data-driven approach to evaluating regional and national policy outcomes. At the Challey Institute, he conducts research that explores how policy decisions influence innovation, growth, and individual opportunity. His work contributes to the development of forward-thinking, impactful policy solutions.
