education administration, began his career as a counselor for Employment Services of North Dakota in Fargo. He moved to Crookston, Minn., and was employed at the Division of Vocation Rehabilitation. He later worked with the Regional Inter-District Council for Special Education. He began working for Agassiz Construction in 1973, retiring as project manager in 2006. He lived in St. Cloud, Minn.
