pharmacy, was a Vietnam era veteran who was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses for heroism.  He later worked as a pharmacist at the San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital in La Jolla, Calif., and then moved to the Fargo VA Hospital where he became chief of the pharmacy service. He lived in Fargo.
