bacteriology, MS ’65, pharmacy, was a trained instructor, including special education, for the deaf. She also wrote three books, including “Listen … Please?” about deaf and hearing-impaired children, “Rainbow of Hope” about American children growing up during the Cold War and “La Pucelle” about Joan of Arc. She lived in Harlingen, Texas.
