counseling and guidance, was a Dakota culture instructor at Four Winds School, a counselor for educational talent search at Cankdeska Cikana Community College, employee counselor at the Spirit Lake Casino and director of Spirit Lake Tribal Social Services. She received the North Dakota Native American Foster Parent Association’s 2004 Social Service Worker of the Year Award for the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe. An enrolled member of the Spirit Lake Nation, she lived in Devils Lake, N.D.
