home economics education, and her husband farmed near Sanborn, N.D., until 1999, when they moved to Valley City, N.D. She substitute taught at several Barnes County schools and totally enjoyed the young people. She also was a 4-H leader for 21 years and taught several classes for the Barnes County Extension office. She lived in Valley City.
