university studies, was a longtime auto body instructor at the North Dakota State College of Science. He retired in 1998 as an associate professor. He was a contributing editor for a leading auto body magazine, Body Shop Business. He also was a district director for the North Dakota Auto Body Association. In 2000, he was inducted in the Auto Body Association Hall of Fame. He lived in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
