university studies, was named the 67th president of the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs. He has served as North Dakota’s commissioner of Veterans Affairs since 2008, and is only the third North Dakota director to be named to the national post. The association is comprised of directors, commissioners and secretaries from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Samoa Islands. He lives in Horace, North Dakota.
