civil engineering, was president and board chair of Mid America Steel. He was a state representative from Fargo's District 44 from 2004-12. He also served on the boards of the North Dakota Credit Union Association and Association of General Contractors of North Dakota. He was a member of the F-M Engineers Club. He lived in Woodworth, North Dakota.
