university studies, worked as The Forum's head librarian from 1972 until retiring in 2004. She then started wrote a food and cooking column and later a local history column. She was a member of North Dakota Press Women, the News Division of Special Library Association and the International Association of Cooking Professionals. She lived in Fargo.
