physical education, worked at Westfield and Flint Communications/Media Productions in Fargo. She was the first female president of the NDSU Team Makers, and her many honors included the YWCA Woman of the Year Award in 1990 and NDSU's Heritage Award for alumni service in 2007. She lived in Pierre, South Dakota.
