arts and science, taught school in Nekoma and Crystal, North Dakota. She and her husband moved to Fargo to raise their nine children. She was a Campfire Girl leader, 4-H leader, Cub Scout den mother and school volunteer. She was president, secretary and treasurer for the Red River Valley Homemakers; and president, secretary and treasurer for the Railway Mail Clerks Auxiliary. She lived in Moorhead.
