agricultural economics, and Janna (McCoy) Lutovsky, BA '66, speech, were honored as the 2015 Outstanding Philanthropists by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Western North Carolina. They were nominated by the Literacy Council of Buncombe County with letters of support from United Way of Asheville-Buncombe County and the YMCA of Western North Carolina. Together, they donated to 20 nonprofit organizations during 2015, 13 of which are in the Asheville, North Carolina, region. He is the former president and CEO of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.
