crop and weed science, was a customer development manager for Winfield, covering areas in North Dakota and Minnesota. At NDSU, he was a nine-time NCAA Division II All-American, claiming six honors in the pole vault and three in the decathlon. He was inducted into the Bison Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013. He lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
