agricultural education, was a vocational agriculture teacher at Watford City High School, retiring in 2009. For a time, he also was a county Extension agent. He was a longtime member of the Watford City Lions' Club, and he taught hunter safety for more than 30 years. He lived in Watford City, North Dakota.
