agricultural economics, was a professor emeritus for the University of Wyoming. He served as the agricultural economics department head for 25 years. In 1972, he was listed in Outstanding Educators of America. He was president of the Western Agricultural Economics Association and chair of the Western Agricultural Economics Research Council. He lived in Bismarck, North Dakota.
