mechanical engineering, was an oilman whose career spanned 60 years and three oil booms. He worked for Hess Corp. for 23 years in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. He later founded his own consulting firm, Broschat Engineering and Management Services. He was inducted into the North Dakota Petroleum Council Hall of Fame and served on the Interstate Oil Commission. He lived in Williston, North Dakota.
