electrical engineering, was an associate professor at NDSU until 1963, when he accepted a position at the Bureau of Standards in Boulder, Colorado. A World War II veteran who received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, he served in North Africa, England, France and Sicily. He lived in Loveland, Colorado.
