industrial engineering, worked as an industrial engineer for the U.S. government at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois, and in France and Germany. He also worked in Minneapolis for IBM, Super Valu, Minnetonka Labs and Target Corp. He retired in 2002. He lived in Plymouth, Minnesota.
