agricultural education, served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Vietnam Veteran and received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Force Commendation Medal and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1979. After the military, he was an ag Science teacher in Granger and Belton, Texas. He lived in Belton.
