agricultural education, taught vocational agriculture at Medina, North Dakota, High School from 1956-167, and later operated his own business, Bill's Agri-Service, from 1967-73. He then was an agriculture loan officer for the Bank of Steele, in Steele and Medina, from 1974-95, retiring as senior vice president and director of the Bank of Steele. He lived in Medina.
