civil engineering, taught civil engineering technology at North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, for 23 years. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and served with the Army’s 25th Infantry Division in Guadalcanal, where he earned the Silver Star. He lived in Bismarck, North Dakota.
