educational administration, was a longtime teacher and coach at several regional schools, including 14 years at Valley City, North Dakota. He later became executive secretary of the North Dakota High School Activities Association. He was inducted into the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in 2010. He lived in Valley City.
