choral conducting, had a scholarship established at Blinn College in his honor by the music department of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham, Texas. He has served as director of music ministry and artist-in-residence of the 1,500-member church for the past six years. He plays organ and leads five performing groups, including the 12-voice Choral Scholars, a paid and auditioned choir of music students from Blinn College.
