educational administration, was a teacher, coach and athletic director at Oakes, North Dakota. During his 24 years there, he led basketball teams to 12 conference titles and was an assistant coach as football teams won 10 conference championships. He was inducted into the North Dakota High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2004. He lived in West Fargo.
