agriculture education, was a vocational agriculture teacher and later took over the family farm near Havana, North Dakota. The farm was honored as a Centennial Farm, and he and his wife received the Outstanding County Agriculturalist award. He served on the Sargent Central School Board, Sargent County District Board of Health and the Rutland Elevator Board. He lived in Havana.
