physical education, worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, was a certified athletic trainer at various high schools in the Twin Cities and served on the Bloomington Fire Department. He was a captain in the Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the 1965 national championship football team, and lived in Minneapolis.
