physical education, retired after 35 years of teaching and coaching at Minot High School. Her teams won 12 state championships in track and field and two in cross country. She has been inducted into the Minot High School Hall of Fame, North Dakota Coaches Association Hall of Fame, National Coaches Association Hall of Fame and North Dakota Track and Field Hall of Fame.
