secondary education, retired from teaching in 2013 and now travels the world with his wife, Randi. During his 40-year career, he was a Fulbright Scholar in Japan and India, was a Teacher of the Year Award recipient in Valley City, North Dakota, and received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. He lives in Valley City.
