agricultural engineering, taught physics and aeronautics for 22 years at Hibbing, Minnesota, High School, where he oversaw the renovation of the physics lab and developed the aeronautics program. He later made several trips to St. Vincent Island in the West Indies to build homes for families in need. He was a Navy World War II veteran who lived in Balsam Township, Minnesota.
