Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing, worked for the Bismarck police department as an officer, canine handler and accident investigator for eight years. She then worked as a registered nurse at Medcenter One and as a travelling nurse anesthetist. She was a Marine Corps veteran who lived in Bismarck, North Dakota.
