agronomy, was a vice president for Melroe Manufacturing Co. (now called Bobcat) and Clark Equipment. Earlier in his career, he co-owned a real estate partnership. He was a former North Dakota state legislator and former president of the North Dakota Realtors Association. He was an Army veteran who served both in Europe and the Pacific Theater in World War II. He lived in Fargo.
