home economics education, taught school at Bottineau and Valley City, North Dakota, and was a home management specialist with NDSU Extension. She also was director of adult education for Fargo Public Schools and an NDSU assistant professor of home economics education. In addition, she served as career/vocational and technology integration coordinator and executive director of the Valley and Lakes Education District. She was vice president of the Minnesota Home Economics Association and president of Phi Upsilon Omicron. She lived on Lake Lizzie near Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.
