animal science, was a dairy scientist at West Central School and Experiment Station in Morris, Minnesota. His many projects led to travel to Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Denmark, Uruguay, Norway, France and Germany. For nearly 20 years he also was synod coordinator for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America hunger appeal. That work included travel to Kenya, Tanzania, Israel, Bolivia, Peru and South Africa. He was an Army veteran who lived in Morris.
