home economics education, was a homemaker who was active in PEO, Red Cross and North Dakota Council on the Arts. She was president of the North Dakota chapter of the National Association on Mental Illness. She received the Distinguished Director Award from The Mental Health Association of North Dakota in 1987. She lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
