electrical and electronic engineering, was admitted but did not enroll at West Point in 1945 because he already had enlisted in the Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Bunker Hill transporting troops. He worked with his father and uncle, Alfred Junge, electrifying rural farmsteads. He co-owned a company that included an appliance store in West Fargo and served on the board of the Fargo State Bank. He lived in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
