food and nutrition, PhD ’94, cereal science, received the Communications Written Media Award from the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences for her news column Prairie Fare, receiving first place in the Central Region and second place in the nation. She is an NDSU Extension food and nutrition specialist and professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences.
