child development and family relations, taught at Bagley, Minnesota; Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa; and North Central High School in Valley City, North Dakota. She and her husband then took summer management positions at the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation. She lived in Vancouver, Washington.
