educational administration, was a teacher, guidance counselor, principal and coach at Lisbon, North Dakota, High School. He received several accolades, including North Dakota Class B Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year in 1999 and the North Dakota High School Coaches Association award for Assistant Coach of the Year for Girls Track and Field in 2009. He also received the distinguished Rollie Greeno Award from Jamestown College and was inducted into the Lisbon High School Hall of Fame. He lived in West Fargo.
