agricultural economics, was a farmer and rancher. He was a 4-H leader for 15 years and an Otis Township supervisor. He received the Honorary Chapter Farmer from the Velva FFA, 2001 North Dakota Angus Commercial Breeder of the Year and North Dakota Stockmen’s Association Rancher of the Year in 2004. He lived in Bismarck, North Dakota.
