Reset user preferences

  1. While logged into the TYPO3 backend, click User settings under User Tools in the module menu, at left
  2. Click the Edit & Advanced functions tab
  3. Click the Reset button ("Reset Configuration and Clear Temporary Data")
  4. Click OK when prompted to confirm
  5. Reload the backend (push the browser refresh button or press F5)
